As we step into July, I’m reminded that true strength doesn’t always come from fire or force—it comes from softness, vulnerability, and the courage to open our hearts.
This month in my men’s work, we’re exploring the Wildman Archetype—but before we leap into primal expression, we must first listen to the pulse within. The untamed heart is not chaotic—it’s alive. And when we can meet it with reverence, it becomes a guiding light, not just a loud drumbeat.
Returning to the Heart
In Vedic Astrology, the Moon represents the heart—the mind in its feeling, reflective nature. And this week, as lunar energy stirs emotional currents, I find myself drawn inward.
I’ve spent so much of my life chasing strength in all the wrong places. Achievements. Control. Stoicism. But what Tantra has shown me—what the sacred path continues to teach me—is that my true power lives in my capacity to feel deeply. To love courageously. To hurt and still remain open.
Opening the heart isn’t easy. In fact, it’s some of the bravest work we can do. But it’s also the work that changes everything.
Vulnerability as Devotion
In Tantra, the heart chakra—Anahata—is the gateway between the earthly and the divine. It’s where we carry grief, longing, compassion, and joy. And when we bring awareness to this center, something extraordinary happens: we begin to live from love instead of fear.
The teachings of Vedic Astrology help illuminate the conditions of the heart: What sign rules your Moon? What planets influence your emotional body? What karmic stories are you carrying in your chest?
These insights are not meant to label or limit you—they’re invitations to soften, to notice, to heal.
This Week’s Reminder
If your heart has been guarded… if love has felt risky… if you’ve been holding back your truth because it feels too tender—this week, I invite you to open the gate. Not to anyone else, necessarily—but to yourself.
Place your hand on your heart and ask: “What do you need from me?”
Listen for the answer.
Today’s Thought Exercise
What would your life look like if you led with your heart this week?
What might change if you let yourself feel more instead of doing more?
