In Vedic Astrology, Chandra—the Moon—is more than a planet; it is the mirror of the soul’s inner tides. It governs our emotions, our receptivity, our memory, and our intuition. And as July draws to a close, we are invited to tune in more deeply—to the whispers, the hunches, the quiet wisdom within.
Where the sun illuminates the seen, the Moon reveals the unseen. It is the subtle guide, the reflective glow that leads us not through will, but through surrender.
The Intuitive Body
Tantra teaches that the body is a sacred temple. Not just of pleasure—but of perception. The more attuned we are to our breath, our sensations, and our energy, the more fluent we become in the language of intuition.
I’ve learned that intuition doesn’t shout. It hums.
It took me years to hear it. I used to override my gut feelings with logic, with planning, with external advice. But intuition requires space. Slowness. Listening. Trust.
This week, I’ve been practicing a simple Tantric meditation: sitting quietly, hands on my belly and heart, breathing and asking, “What is true right now?” Then I wait. I listen. I feel.
And always, a soft truth emerges—not from the mind, but from the body.
Vedic Clarity
In your chart, the Moon’s sign, phase, and house placement all offer insights into how your intuition functions. Are you someone who feels things before others do? Are your emotions a source of wisdom or confusion? Do you trust yourself?
If Chandra is strong in your chart, your inner knowing is often accurate, but you may also feel deeply affected by your environment. If it’s challenged, you may need to strengthen emotional resilience and grounding before accessing that inner clarity.
This Week’s Practice
- Spend 10 minutes a day in silence.
- Journal the intuitive nudges you receive—before the mind gets involved.
- Notice what your body says before your thoughts respond.
Your intuition is not irrational—it’s ancestral. It’s the wisdom of your being speaking through time.
Today’s Thought Exercise
When was the last time you followed your intuition and it surprised you?
What does it feel like when you know something before you understand why?
